My name is Jo, Clinic Owner and the mind, body and soul behind Eden Valley Health - formerly Trayah Centre for Lymphatic Health in Worcester and Australia.

​You can find out all about my qualifications and Clinic offerings on the other pages of this website but rest assured I am highly qualified (my certificates are proudly displayed on the wall!), DBS checked, registered with the LTA, MLDuk and a member of The British Lymphology Society, the Lymphoedema Support Network and Lipoedema UK.  i also hold advanced insurances with Balens, am First Aid & CPR trained and an accredited member of FHT Association.​​​​​​​

Personally, I am a proud VW campervan owner and, since owning her the past 2 years, I love to get away for hikes with my dog, Widget the Cockapoo.  It's my time to escape, regroup, de-stress and get back to nature. My goal for 2027 is completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in a day with my best friend, another Jo!  ​I also enjoy going to the gym, swimming, yoga, cooking, exploring and getting involved in the local community - in a variety of different ways!  

 

In May, I experienced the Yorkshire Dales for the first time and in August I took Mum away in the campervan and we discovered the Eden Valley.  The region stole our hearts and with me just turning 50 and craving country over city, nature over noise and peace over stress, we decided to sell our homes and buy together near Appleby.  Mum is almost 80 and I'm beyond impressed by her adventurous spirit - I know where I get it from! 

 

I have secured a beautiful Clinic space - The Ridley Room within the Penrith Parish Centre - right in the centre of town.  I will be opening up the Clinic from 5 January 2027 and can't wait to welcome you!  You can already book in now via clicking on the "Booking In" page to secure your ideal time/day.  I really look forward to learning more about and exploring the area and supporting the local community.  If you see my VW out and about (it also has an orange and white garland across the dashboard!) - do give me a wave unless it's not me driving, then please call the Police!
